Detrimental Images of Nigerian Women in Nollywood
Abstract
This article explores the negative portrayal of Nigerian women in Nollywood films. Using two films as examples, Women in Power and Odaju Obinrin, it show how this occurs and challenges this depiction by stressing the need to represent Nigerian women in a realistic manner.
