I Never Expected It

Rachel Schy

Abstract

Sarah and I have known each other forever. We grew up down the street from each other and from the time we were old enough to walk we were inseparable. We have gone to school together since kindergarten and spend every second together in and out of school. We tell each other everything and can tell when the other is upset about something. I can honestly say I know her better than myself. We usually spend every weekend together, but this weekend I had to go to a family party so Sarah went to visit her cousin and her cousin's boyfriend by herself. We always look out for each other and have each other's backs always. Plain and simple she is my best friend and I could not ask for a better friend. Whenever something is bothering her I can always tell and the same goes for her with me. We can read each other and that is why the day she came back from visiting her cousin I could tell something was up.
