Guest-edited by Azuka Nzegwu, PhD, the series “Five for Five: Transfigurations and Truth” focuses on writers self reflections of their writings. The series asks writers to candidly speak about their philosophy, creative process, and the prevalent themes in their work. While the series does not focus on any of the writer’s publications, it asks them to move past the language of literature that is sometimes colorful and pristine into their own personal space – a place of vulnerability and truth.
