Editorial: Paper Process (Five for Five: Transfigurations and Truth)

Azuka Nzegwu

Abstract

When authors write, they go into power spaces they rarely speak about. In these spaces, they experience several shifts that can produce masterful literature. As scholars and readers of fiction and poetry, we analyze and dissect these works to find its meaning, writing interpretative essays that explore its theme. While there is little focus on the ways that authors navigate those power spaces, my goal is to find a purposeful way to unearth writers' creative processes and their philosophy on writing.
