Biodun Jeyifo

Abstract

Unlike Hollywood and Bollywood that have over several decades evolved clear and definite patterns of economic peculiarities and artistic traditions, Nollywood is still in its infancy in these matters. This article examines the phenomenon that is Nollywood by posing and responding to the following questions: What is the scope of Nollywood? And where can one look for hopeful signs of its future growth, improvement and development?
