Henriette Gunkel

Henriette Gunkel is a Lecturer in the Department of Visual Cultures at Goldsmiths, University of London. She is author of the monograph The Cultural Politics of Female Sexuality in South Africa (Routlegde, 2010) as well as co-editor of What Can a Body Do? Praktiken und Figurationen des KÃ¶rpers in den Kulturwissenschaften (Campus, 2012), Undutiful Daughters. New Directions in Feminist Thought and Practice (Palgrave McMillan, 2012) and Frieda Grafe. 30 Filme (Brinkmann & Bose Verlag, 2013).

Zethu Matebeni

Zethu Matebeni is a Senior Researcher, activist and documentary film-maker at the Institute for Humanities in Africa (HUMA), University of Cape Town. She is the curator of the collection Reclaiming Afrikan: queer perspectives on sexual and gender identities and co-director of Breaking Out of the Box: stories of black lesbians in South Africa.
